Cocoa shells 500 g

You can eat cocoa beans with their skins, but when we make chocolate from them, we have to peel them first. Otherwise, the chocolate wouldn't melt on your tongue :-)

Cocoa shells and cocoa powder have various uses:

1. Mulching in the garden: Cocoa shells are often used as mulch in the garden or for houseplants, such as orchids. Plus, they have a very pleasant chocolate scent :-)

2. Fertilizer: Thanks to their high content of nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, cocoa shells can serve as a natural fertilizer. They improve soil fertility.

3. Cosmetics: You can use cocoa shells to make fragrant exfoliants and scrubs.

4. Chocolate tea: Infusing cocoa shells with hot water creates a light drink with a pleasant chocolate flavor and aroma.
