Handmade chocolate or bean-to-bar chocolate?
Handmade does not mean bean-to-bar. Sometimes these two terms are unfortunately confused.
Chocolate made by hand does not necessarily have to be made directly from cocoa beans, meaning it might not be bean-to-bar. If you buy cocoa mass, melt it, and pour it into molds, it is handmade work, even though you haven't even touched a cocoa bean.
If chocolate is made using the bean-to-bar method, or "from bean to bar," it is simultaneously handmade.
