International Successes and Awards

In 2017, two years after founding the Míšina čokoláda brand, I decided to find out how Míšina čokoláda would stand up to international competition. And it did! Since then, it has won over 50 medals in prestigious international competitions.

I sent my first bar to the prestigious Academy of Chocolate Awards in London in 2017, and it won a medal right away. The 75% dark chocolate from Tanzania beans won silver among 900 evaluated chocolates from all over the world. In the same year, in the regional International Chocolate Awards in Budapest, the Tanzania 75% dark chocolate with orange received a bronze award.

In 2018, I sent seven bars to the Academy of Chocolate Awards, and all seven won medals. Vietnam 70% dark chocolate became the first Czech chocolate to win world gold! The competition judged 1,200 chocolate products from 45 countries.

In 2019, more medals were added, and Madagascar 50% milk chocolate became the first Czech chocolate to win European gold in the milk chocolate category! 

In 2020, Míšina čokoláda received 5 awards in the Great Taste Awards gourmet competition, including the highest one! SAMETOVÁ (Velvet) chocolate became the first Czech chocolate in the history of the competition to receive 3 stars. Only 1.6% of nearly 13,000 entered products were awarded 3 stars.

In the same year, Míšina čokoláda also won 2 gold medals for Madagascar 58.5% milk chocolate with Czech blueberries and 100% chocolate from Tanzania beans at the prestigious Academy of Chocolate Awards in London. 

In 2021, Míšina čokoláda won a silver medal for Uganda 70% dark chocolate, milk chocolate with goat milk, and Christmas hot chocolate. Other chocolates received 2 stars in the Great Taste Awards - Tanzania 100% chocolate, Bali 70% dark chocolate, milk chocolate with goat milk, and Šalamounka chocolate spread.

In 2022, Peru 70% dark chocolate won 2 stars in the Great Taste Awards, while Uganda 70% dark chocolate and chocolate granola each received 1 star. Madagascar 50% milk chocolate with tangerines won a bronze medal.
